RFB-OC109-12 - Transportation of Voting Machines

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this specification to describe the minimum requirements for the safe transportation of voting machines and related equipment and supplies from one or more County warehouses to various polling locations in Orange County, at such times required by the Orange County Board of Elections (BOE) for the following elections or events that may be held or occur during the calendar years 2013 and 2014 and any extension terms, if such extension options are exercised by the County: 1. Fall Primary Elections (held on the first Tuesday after the second Monday in September before every general election); 2. Spring Primary Elections (held on first Tuesday in February in each year in which a Presidential candidate is to be elected or in the month of June during any Federal Election cycle); 3. General Elections (held on the Tuesday next succeeding the first Monday in November); 4. Village Elections (held on the third Tuesday in March or as otherwise provided by each village in Orange County by resolution); 5. School District Elections to be held in May (held generally on the third Tuesday in May) 6. Special Elections or other voting events at which times the BOE is required or requested to provide voting machines; and 7. Such times, at the discretion of the BOE or the County, it is necessary to move the voting machines for storage reasons
