PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide professional engineering services for design, preparation of bid documents, and construction administration for the Design and Construction for the Sludge Thickeners Upgrade Project. It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to single contractor.

This RFP is designed to provide interested offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Offerors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability under any agreement.

Event Note

There will be a pre-proposal meeting at the offices of the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangetown, New York at 1:00 PM on March 1, 2022. The interested firms who plan to attend the pre-proposal meeting shall call Martin Dolphin, P.E. Assistant Director, at (845) 365-6111 before 3:00 P.M (EST) on February 25, 2022 to allow the District to ensure that the venue can accommodate the number of attendees.
