The Rockland County Sewer District # 1 is looking for a supplier(s) to furnish, install and calibrate the Nivus Flow Meter Transmitter NivuFlow 750 and Nivus Ultrasonic Pipe Sensors (POA) Pipe Cross Correlation equipment and waterproof enclosure for transmitter. No alternate Brands will be accepted. ALL PRICES MUST BE FOB DESTINATION.
The County reserves the right to award on a line-by-line basis.
This contract is subject to New York State Labor Law 220, Article 8 Prevailing wages.
This flow meter will be installed on 8-inch line (forced main) in Mt. Ivy Pump Station located at 1585 Route 202, Pomona, NY 10970. All work will be done inside the pump station, no public roads.
Confined Space Entry Certification will be required. (OSHA certificate must be submitted with bid)
System must be compatible with our SCADA system.
County will provide pipe saddle with 1.5-inch ball valve for sensor installation.
AC power necessary to operate the unit will be installed and provided by the county prior to installation.
This bid also covers hourly rates to cover costs associated with incidental labor needed that is not included in the installation price. Any additional parts needed will be provided at cost. Proof of cost will be required upon invoice. All work performed under this section must be approved, in writing, by Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 authorized representative.
