The County of Rockland Sheriff Division is replacing portions of its existing security network that requires the listed switches, Cisco or Approved Equal. Modifications of or additions to basic standard model(s) indicated or less size or capability will not be acceptable. Equipment furnished must meet or exceed specifications. This bid is for the purchase of equipment only as the items must be installed by County personnel. Equipment / Brand offered must integrate with existing Cisco equipment already installed. This bid has a short turn around. Please complete your estimated delivery time if different than that indicated. All bids will be considered.
REQUIREMENTS
Bidder must be an Authorized Dealer/Reseller for the brand they are bidding and provide documentation / authorization letter with bid response.
Equipment must be New Unused and in its original packaging.
All items must be as specified or approved equal.
Bids containing restrictions will not be acceptable unless the Rockland County Purchasing Department deems the restrictions conform to the County of Rockland requirements.
Grant Funding: The orders placed for the goods/services specified will be processed using NYS or other Grant Funds and requires respondents to be an NYS M/WBE. Therefore, respondents to this bid shall indicate how they intend to meet the NYS M/WBE Grant requirement and if their firm is currently on the state list than their bid response must include a copy of their NYS MWBE certificate. NYS Certified MBE/WBE FIRMS shall be considered in the evaluation of the award. NYS MWBE respondents will take precedence in determining lowest responsive responsible bidder.
