RFP-RC-2024-024 - Home Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI)

The Rockland County Department of Mental Health (RCDMH) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a provider for funding to create a Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) team.

This funding is intended to provide short-term intensive services to support children and families that are in need of community-based crisis intervention services. These services are provided with the aim of averting unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations of children and youth. This goal is accomplished through clinical interventions with the youth and their family along with case management services, such as referrals to longer term services and supports.
