Description

The County of Rockland is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified medical providers and medical specialists to perform medical examinations pursuant to New York State Civil Service Law (“CSL”), including section 72 as per the requirements outlined below.

The County prefers to contract with a Practitioner or Medical Group that can provide medical and medical specialty evaluations; however, the County will consider medical providers and specialists individually. The County may need the services from the following types of medical providers:

General Practitioner
Internist
Orthopedist
Neurologist
Occupational Medicine specialists

The Medical Provider or Group Practice shall perform the following services as requested by the County:

Physical fitness for duty examinations (ability to perform essential job functions) based on Job Description provided by the County.
Independent medical examinations.
