The County of Rockland’s Sheriff Department intends to recommend the issuance of a Sole Source award to
GIT America Inc., Hyundai Motor Group for their Event Data Retrieval product line for the following vehicle kits:
EDR Kit, Hyundai P/N G0ZHDMN0001 $6,450.00; Annual Hyundai EDR Software Update Subscription Fee P/N EDRASWUDFH $495.00; EDR Kit, Kia P/N G0ZKDMN0001 $6,950.00; Annual Kia EDR Software Update Subscription Fee P/N EDRASWUDFK $49.500. All hardware is packaged in a custom hard-shell case.

Any interested party that believes they can provide the Forensic Tools noted above GIT America Inc. Hyundai Motor Group shall submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 3:00 pm, JANUARY 7, 2021. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
