SSN-RC-2021-049 - PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT AS SPECIFIED

The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Adaptive Digital Systems, Inc. (ADS) for their proprietary Recorder Equipment Kit ($6,900.00).  This equipment is known to successfully interface and is backward compatible with other ADS equipment and accessories currently owned by the County.  This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing procured technology tools and software.

This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes.

Any interested party that believes they can provide the equipment noted above, as supplied by Adaptive Digital Systems, Inc. (ADS), should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 3:00 pm SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 (14 days) of this announcement.  A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
