PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE TO NY BB, dba THE NEW YORK BOULDERS FOR A PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR THE ROCKLAND COUNTRY SHERIFF’S OFFICE-$10,000.00
The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to NY BB, dba THE NEW YORK BOULDERS for community outreach through a public awareness campaign at Clover Stadium. The campaign will provide a billboard on the outfield fence, 20 seconds of public service announcements and a website banner. The stadium hosts minor league baseball as well as college and high school sporting events and concerts. The Sheriff’s Office has found this effective in reaching large numbers of residents and visitors to educate the public and encourage suspicious activity reporting.
This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be procured through NY BB, dba The New York Boulders.
This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
Any interested party that believes they can provide the billboard and public service announcements supplied by The New York Boulders shall submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 3:00 pm, MAY 25, 2023. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
