The County of Rockland Board of Elections intend to recommend the issuance of a Sole Source award to Election System and Software, LLC for the purchase of the following equipment, integration and services into the current proprietary Election System and Software System. This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with Rockland County Procurement Policy and approval by the Rockland County Legislature.
This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
The Contractor shall provide the staging of EMS Systems at Election Systems &Software, LLC Technical Services Lab. Includes the installation, configuration, and testing of EMS network connectivity, 3rd party equipment delivered to customer location, ES&S Technical services technical on site at customer location to complete physical installation and end-to-end connectivity testing, Technical Services technician provides customer walkthrough of EMS network equipment while on-site, EMS installation summary documentation provided to customer upon completion of installation. All third-Party items documentation and warranties shall be provided.
Any interested party should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met by April 5, 2022 prior to 3:00 PM. Statement of capabilities shall include working knowledge of the above system, written authority by Election System and Software to service and access the proprietary software and hardware systems specified, documented record of other service work and parts replacement for Election System and Software equipment. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
