Summary of Specifications:
Ulster County is soliciting sealed bids for renovations and improvements to the existing “filter” building at the New Paltz Pool Complex, 241 Libertyville Road, New Paltz, New York.
This work shall consist of Demolition of existing shed roof over existing “Filter Room”, removal of (1) exterior 2x4 stud wall, bracing and reinforcing of remaining (2) exterior walls, extension of height on (2) remaining walls and construction of (2) new wood-framed insulated exterior walls and new wood-framed hip-shed roof structure with metal roofing panels, gutters and leaders as indicated on the drawings. Removal of existing exterior door on the Filter Room, widen and re-frame the opening with a new wood header, and install new 6’-0” wide exterior FRP double door. Saw-cut and remove a 6’-0” portion of the exterior CMU wall on the existing maintenance building to create a pass-through to the new portion of the Filter Room. Installation of a new concrete slab for the domestic water storage tank and all other work necessary for a complete and functional system as indicated on the drawings.
