The Ulster County Transportation Council (UCTC) has identified locations throughout the county where there is a correlation between elevated crash rates and areas of increased congestion as measured by 2011 Mid-Hudson Valley TMA travel time survey. UCTC is working to implement Road Safety Assessments at select locations to identify cost-effective countermeasures to mitigate issues at selected sites.
