Dutchess Community College (DCC) and Dutchess County (County) Department of Public Works (DPW) seeks proposals from qualified architectural/engineering firms or teams to provide architectural, site, general, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services and to develop construction documents, including an estimate of probable construction costs, for a new educational building located at the Hudson Valley Regional Airport. DCC is working collaboratively with the County to create a new educational facility at the Hudson Valley Regional Airport to serve its Aviation and Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) program. The location of the building will be to the east of the existing terminal building in a grass area adjacent to Runway 15-33.
The general components of the building are: administrative offices, classrooms, testing room, conference room, breakroom, educational hangar, and commercial repair hangar. The building will be occupied by DCC within the administration and classroom area and within the educational hangar. A private aircraft repair service (fixed base operator/FBO) will occupy an adjacent hangar space within the building.
DCC/the County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal(s) considered to be in the best interest of the County. DCC/the County reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason.
