Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority (hereinafter referred to as “Authority”) will accept bids for Lawn Maintenance for fourteen (14) of their facilities located within Dutchess County for the 2025 season in accordance with the specification and requirements contained in the bid documents. All work is subject to “Prevailing Wage” requirements of the New York State Department of Labor and requires submission of Certified Payroll with each invoice. Bids can be submitted, via postal mail or hand delivery, to a secure drop box located at the backdoor entrance of the facility (within the back-parking lot) that bids can be inserted.
Bids shall be submitted on the Authority Bid Form in a sealed envelope by 1:00 P.M. (local time) on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 addressed as follows:

CONTRACT TERM
The contract term will begin on April 1, 2025 and end on November 30, 2025 with the exception of a fall clean-up of leaves twice in November at our Main office building only as per the schedule detailed in the attached Exhibit A - Scope of Services . At the option of the Authority, the contract may be extended for a one year extension by mutual written contract or terminated in accordance with the terms of this contract.
FACILITY SITE VISITS
The fourteen (14) facilities are located in the areas of Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Pawling, Beekman, and Pleasant Valley, NY as detailed in the attached Exhibit A - Scope of Service. Each site will be serviced a total of twenty-three (23) times each during the contract term unless stated otherwise such as the case with the Main Office building as noted in Exhibit A which includes 2 visits for this location only for fall leaf pick-up for a total of twenty-five (25) times..
A Mandatory Site visit is needed for three locations that are more complicated in nature so that bidders can accurately quote for those systems. All Bidders desiring to respond to this solicitation must attend either of the two sessions scheduled below and must RSVP which date you choose to attend by calling our main office at 845-486-3601. Failure to attend one of these site visits and sign the attendance roster will be basis to return any bid to a bidder not documented in attendance. Potential bidders must provide their own transportation to these sites.
