PWC-PBW-2021-01 - Pinebrook Water & Hyde Park Regional Water System Interconnection

The Nature of this project is the connection of the Pinebrook Water System to the Hyde Park Regional Water System as follows: 

1. Furnish all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary for, and incidental to, the open-cut installation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main.  The work shall include, but not be limited to, the installation of the new water main and associated fittings, hydrant and valve installation, sample station installation, meter vault installation, connections to existing water systems, and the hydrostatic pressure testing and disinfection of the water main.
2. Asphalt and rock removal to facilitate installation of the proposed water main and appurtenances.
3. Site restoration including topsoil, seeding, asphalt pavement and driveway repairs.
4. Work zone traffic control.

1. Furnish all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary for, and incidental to, the decommissioning of three (3) existing potable water wells.  This work shall include, but not be limited to, removal of all drop piping and pumping equipment, disconnection of well discharge piping and electrical conductors, and the grouting and sealing of all wells in accordance with NYS Department of Environmental Conservation requirements.
