Summary of Specifications:
The work of this project is divided among the four prime contracts listed above. Major elements of the work include but are not limited to the following: • Furnish and install a nominal 22 ft. x 27 ft. dimension, pre-engineered, pre-fabricated building, complete and ready for use, including building and erection, concrete footings and floor, all clearing, grading, excavation and site work, buried piping, rain garden and restoration of surfaces. • Furnish and install treatment system components within said building, including filtration equipment, water softening equipment, chemical feed systems, interior process piping, appurtenance, instrumentation, control panels, replacement of the existing well pumps, and control programming, such to provide a complete treatment system for water supply well water. • Furnish and install standby electric power generator and controls. • Furnish and install electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning work associated with the above building, equipment and treatment system, including their connection with the existing facilities at the site. • Demolition of a small, masonry block and wood building presently housing the current treatment equipment and a water supply well.
