Summary of Specifications:
NATURE OF PROJECT: The Contractor shall perform the following (including, but not necessarily limited to): The Shore Haven Water Distribution System Improvements Project will generally include work located in the Town of Pawling, NY, along NYS Rte. 292 from Rocky Mountain Way to Beachway Drive, and side roads off of Rte. 292 including: Mountain View Road, Oak Dr,, Crescent Dr., Rocky Mt. Way and private pathways. The project includes, but not necessarily limited to, the installation of approximately 2,825 lf of new 4-inch ductile iron water line and appurtenances, pressure reducing valves (and precast concrete manholes), connection to existing mains, temporary water service, disconnecting and reconnection of existing house water services, trench and pavement restoration. The work also includes the installation and maintenance of environmental protection measures, clearing and grubbing, restoration of affected areas, maintenance and protection of traffic, the procurement of permits for construction (including but not limited to a NYSDOT Highway Work Permit, etc.) and other ancillary items necessary for the successful completion of the project.
