Summary of Specifications:
DUTCHESS COUNTY WATER AND WASTEWATER AUTHORITY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals for WATER & WASTEWATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS shall be received by the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority until 11:15 a.m. (local time) on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Authority Business Office, 27 High Street, 2nd Floor, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud. Specifications are available at the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority offices (845-486-3601). All bids shall be sealed in a separate envelope distinctly marked “Proposal for Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals for 2014" and sent directly to the Authority office. A Certificate of Non-Collusion must be submitted. Bids must be submitted on the Authority Bid Form. Contract form is available upon request. Called Out Bid Prices are to be for percentage strengths and in weight units as listed on Bid Form. The bid shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder for each chemical whose bid is filed in conformance with this notice. The successful bidder shall execute a contract prepared by the Authority for the period commencing January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The Authority Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and advertise anew, if, in the judgment of the Board, it shall be in the best interests of the Authority to do so. The Authority reserves the right to require comprehensive public liability insurance. By submission of bids, bidders agree to all terms and conditions in bid documents, and bid documents shall survive award of bid and constitute the contract of sale. Contract form is available upon request. The Authority reserves the right to modify the form of the agreement at any time until execution of the agreement.
