The Board of Education of the East Islip Union Free School District invites sealed Request For Proposals (RFP) for the selection of a construction management firm to provide construction management services in connection with various capital improvements including but not limited to District-wide electrical upgrades, additional bathroom renovations, creation of a bus loop at the High School, additional renovation of the theater and music suite at the High School, and paving repairs at various locations including the RCK playground, that the School District may undertake as a capital reserve expenditure, as approved by District vote on May 17, 2022. You are invited to submit proposals in accordance with this RFP.
Proposals will be received until 10:00 a.m. on June 22, 2022 at the District’s Administrative Offices, East Islip Union Free School District, 1 Craig B. Gariepy Avenue, Islip Terrace, New York 11752. The Request for Proposals may be obtained commencing on Thursday, May 26, 2022 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays in the Office of the Purchasing Agent, or obtained from the district’s website http://www.eischools.org/bids or Empire State Purchasing Group’s (BidNet) website https://www.bidnetdirect.com. Sealed proposals shall be sent by the above-referenced date and time to the attention of Samantha Neff, Purchasing Agent, 1 Craig B. Gariepy Avenue, Islip Terrace, New York 11752 and shall be clearly marked “RFP# 062222-1 – Construction Management Proposal”.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any proposal or to accept part of any proposal.
