The work required under this Contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor and personnel, equipment and ancillary support necessary to complete the work described within these specifications. In general, this work consists of designing, delivering and erecting a Single-Slope, 35’W x 60’L, pre-engineered, pre-fabricated, steel building to serve as a Recreation Maintenance Garage at 5 Lime Kiln Road Ext, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. The building will include primary and secondary structural members, 26-Gauge PBR wall panels, 24-Gauge Standing Seam Roof Panels, R36 Banded Liner Roof Insulation System, framed openings for all doors and garage bays, as well as the installation of all doors and overhead doors. Excavation, Placement of Footings and Foundation, Footing Drains, Plumbing, Sewer, and Electrical work will be performed by others and will not be included in this contract. The quantities shown are for estimating purposes only and may be increased or decreased as directed by the Town Engineer. The pre-engineered, pre-fabricated steel building will be designed in accordance with standards set forth by the Metal Building Manufacturer’s Association (MBMA) and be certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). All workmanship shall conform to the latest edition of the 2020 Building Code of New York State.
