SUNY Erie Community College will be offering two summer programs between July 10 and August 18th at the City Campus location. It is estimated a maximum of 130 students will participate in the programs, with final student headcount provided by the beginning of July 2023.
The food service provider will deliver a healthy, nutritional box lunches to students, while also accommodating dietary restrictions as well as cultural awareness in food options provided to students in the programs. Please give examples of food choices that fulfill students requirements (e.g., kosher, nut free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, low fat, high protein, gluten free).
The food service provider must provide lunches daily, Monday through Friday for a total of thirty (30) days for a maximum of 130 students per day. Lunch is currently scheduled between 11am-noon, Monday through Friday. Prompt delivery and set up is necessary given the tight academic scheduling for the programs over the summer.
Proposals should include:
1. Procedures on how issues and concerns with food items are addressed (i.e. refund and/or replacement)
2. Quality control processes
3. Brief history of proposer’s performance in the food service industry
4. Sample menus with varying food options
5. Pricing for each boxed lunch
a. Pricing should be broken down based on a per box lunch and should include drinks and paper products (i.e. utensils, napkins)
6. All other charges such as delivery/set-up charges must be listed
