The County of Essex is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide periodic geotechnical engineering, inspection and testing services for various highway, bridge and building projects for the Essex County Department of Public Works (DPW) as required and including, but not limited to, the following:
1. Geotechnical engineering, design, field testing and laboratory testing services associated with building, bridge, roadway and site improvement projects.
2. Field inspection, field testing and laboratory testing services associated with building projects for concrete, masonry and structural steel construction, including special inspection services as required by the Building Code of New York State.
