Description

The Genesee County Purchasing Director will receive sealed bids for Bid # 2023-50, Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment of the new Genesee County Jail which is being constructed at 3839 West Main Street Road, Batavia, New York. The Genesee County Jail is a new facility that is scheduled to be substantially completed by January 14, 2024, and final completion by March 15, 2024. Construction began onsite May 2022 and is approximately 50% complete. The main building is enclosed and heated. The Genesee County Jail is a 99,830 square feet two level building, with a detached 1,547 square foot single level maintenance building. The main building will be a mix of commercial level construction for the administrative space and detention level construction for the institutional space.

Bids must be submitted using the bid sheet included in these specifications.
Bids must be accompanied by the following forms found at the end of these specifications:
- Signed Bid Form: Filled out in its entirety and signed by an authorized company representative with notary seals as appropriate. The responses must contain all supporting documentation and attachments listed within.
- Non-Collusion Statement: Affidavit is signed and dated in blue or other non-black ink.
- Bidder Statement on Sexual Harassment in Accordance with New York State Finance Law 139-1: Affidavit is signed and dated in blue or other non-black ink.
- Federal Funding Agency Mandatory Terms & Conditions for Procurements: Affidavit is signed and dated in blue or other non-black ink.
- Iran Divestment Act Certification form and Vendor Certification: Affidavit is signed and dated in blue or other non-black ink.
- Indemnification Agreement: Affidavit is signed and dated in blue or other non-black ink.
- Certification of Insurance/Workers Compensation/Disability:
One (1) original and One (1) Copy of the bid sheet must be provided.
Bidders are responsible for submitting their bids to the Genesee County Purchasing Department, 15 Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020 at or prior to July 13, 2023, prior to 2:00pm. No bids will be accepted after the designated time indicated in this bid package.
Faxed or Emailed bids will NOT be accepted.
Bidders are responsible for reporting, in writing, any errors found in the bid specifications to the Genesee County Purchasing Director, 15 Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020.
Bidders shall indicate on the outside of their sealed bid the following information:
