Brand Names:
Brand name(s) and /or catalog number(s) are given (if used) for the purpose of identification and to denote the standard of quality designated, and do not, in any way, restrict bidders to a specific make and manufacturer. Bid on items if “equal quality or better” will be considered.
Deviation from specifications:
In the event that the proposed supply items differ from these guidelines, the bidder shall attach an explanation detailing all differences, both above and below these guidelines. Each and every bid will be evaluated based upon the proposed price, specification, product support, performance characteristics and suitability to properly perform stated criteria, is the sole discretion of the county.
Whenever in theses specifications a particular make or model number is indicated, it is done solely to establish the level of quality desired. This should not be interpreted to mean that the make or model specified is the only one acceptable.
Basic Warranty:
The manufacturer’s standard warranty will apply. The warranty shall be honored by all manufacturers’ dealers in New York State. The warranty period for all coverage shall begin on the date the GNSS Package is accepted or put in service, whichever occurs last.
Equipment:
All items of standard equipment which are normally provided by the manufacture shall be furnished unless such items are expressly deleted or are specified to be other than standard. When optional equipment is specified, all components listed in the manufacture’s data book as being included with the options shall be furnished.
Inspection/Acceptance:
The products furnished under these specifications shall be inspected by, or at the direction of the GC Soil & Water Conservation Senior Field Manager or his designee at the destination. Acceptance will not occur until the equipment have passed this inspection and/or all faults are corrected.
