This Invitation to Bid is being issued for:
The purchase of natural gas for a term commencing November 1, 2026 with an initial term ending October 31, 2029 for municipalities and non-municipal customers that have affiliated with the Municipal Electric and Gas Alliance (“MEGA”) in the in the utility territories of National Grid, New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG), Central Hudson Gas & Electric (Central Hudson), Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E), National Fuel Gas, and Liberty Utilities.
Section II provides a description of MEGA and its current participation and usage. Section III describes Bidder Qualifications. Section IV describes Instructions to Bidders and MEGA's Rights. Section V details Natural Gas Bidding Requirements. Section VI provides an opportunity for Bidders to take exceptions to certain sections. Section VII describes the terms of the MEGA Program Agreement and Royalty Fee. Section VIII details the Procurement Schedule. MEGA solely reserves the right to accept or reject any bid with exceptions based on the best interests of MEGA.
