Summary of Specifications:
The Genesee County Purchasing Director is requesting proposals for the provision of MDS management services, including preparation, submission, CMI management, and insurance company relationships for the Genesee County Nursing Home. The Genesee County Nursing Home is a 160-bed Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility. VENDOR REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experienced and able to prepare all MDS Assessments, both PPS and OBRA. • Demonstrated ability to manage the MDS scheduling and completion processes in a manner which maximizes both Medicare and Medicaid revenue. • Ability to remain in compliance with all New York State and federal laws specific to Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursement as outlined in the RAI User’s Manual. • Ability to remain compliant at all times with changes implemented by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
