Summary of Specifications:
The Genesee County Purchasing Department will receive sealed bids for sodium chloride for snow and ice control for the Genesee County Highway Department.

Sodium chloride shall be mined rock salt containing not less than 97% Sodium Chloride. For sodium chloride the sieve analysis on U.S. standard sieves shall comply with the following requirements.

· XX0% shall pass 3/8" sieve · 80-100% shall pass 1/4 sieve · 5-50% shall pass No.8 sieve · 0-10% shall pass No.30 sieve
