Description

The Genesee County Purchasing Department will receive bids for the contract for the purchase of sodium chloride for snow and ice control for the Genesee County Highway Department, 153 Cedar Street, Batavia, NY 14020.

Sodium chloride shall be mined rock salt containing not less than 97% Sodium Chloride. For
sodium chloride the sieve analysis on U.S. standard sieves shall comply with the following
requirements.
100% shall pass 3/8" sieve
80-100% shall pass 1/4 sieve
5-50% shall pass No.8 sieve
0-10% shall pass No.30 sieve
