Notice is hereby given that the County of Genesee will accept bids for South Street (CR 3) over Drainage Ditch Bridge NY Culvert Replacement Project in the Village of LeRoy, Genesee County. The work will include, but not be limited to, removal of the existing two-barrel corrugated metal culvert pipes and the concrete cribbing headwall, replacement with a precast concrete box culvert on a realigned Drainage Ditch. Backfilling the existing Drainage Ditch alignment with embankment. Medium stone fill will be placed in the vicinity of the box culvert wingwalls and along the realigned Drainage Ditch side slopes and ditch bottom. Native stream bed material will be excavated from the existing Drainage Ditch bottom and/or imported and placed in the realigned Drainage Ditch bottom. Removal and replacement of guide railing within the project limits. There will be full-depth pavement reconstruction within the limits of the project. Pedestrian traffic/accommodations shall be maintained at all times for the duration of the project. The project detour shall only be in place / utilized (South Street (CR 3) closed to thru traffic) between July 3, 2023, and September 1, 2023. South Street (CR 3) must be open to traffic and the project shall be substantially complete on or before September 1, 2023.
