The Office of the Livingston County Administrator will receive sealed bids for Pre-treated and Untreated Bulk Granular Sodium Chloride (Crushed Rock Salt) used by Livingston County,
Bids shall be received by the Office of the Livingston County Administrator, at the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street, Room 302, Geneseo, New York, 14454 by June 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Copies of the specifications may be obtained from the Livingston County Highway Department located at 4389 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, New York 14510, by e-mail eszoczei@co.livingston.ny.us or by calling (585) 243-6700 after June 11, 2021. Bids may also be obtained by download at http://www.empirestatebidsystem.com.
The official time for the receipt of bids will be the time shown on the time stamp located in the Board of Supervisors/County Administration area, Room 302 on the third floor, Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street, Geneseo, New York 14454. There will be directional information at the Government Center front building entrance.
All bids received will be publicly opened and read in Room 205 of said Government Center on June 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19 we will be conducting the opening as scheduled while practicing social distancing.
All bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and shall clearly be marked “Sealed Bid for Untreated Bulk Calcium Chloride” or “Sealed Bid for Pre-treated Bulk Calcium Chloride” E-mailed and faxed bids shall not be accepted.
Security procedures are in effect at the Livingston County Government Center. Interested parties, especially contractors who intend to hand deliver bids and/or conduct business with Livingston County should allow sufficient time for any delay which may arise as a result of security procedures. To be considered “delivered on time”, a submission must be received by County Administration by the appointed day and time.
Please be advised that only those bidders that have submitted a bid for the bid package being opened will be allowed to attend the actual opening in Room 205.
All bids must be accompanied by a signed non-collusion statement and Attachment D (General Municipal Law Section 103-g Certification) signed and dated in order to be considered. The County of Livingston reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
