2122 RFP-08 - Transportation Services

The district is in need of assistance in providing home-to-school transportation for Monroe-Woodbury (M-W) School District students. The scope of this work is to provide coverage for M-W bus drivers who are on both long and short-term leave.  The number of bus routes requiring coverage will fluctuate according to the needs of the district and a minimum number of buses per day is not guaranteed.  We anticipate the need for Type C or D large buses daily to cover a three-tier bus system.  A three-tier route is approximately 6-7 hours daily.  Occasionally, we are in need of coverage for small buses (vans) with a bus attendant for students with special needs.  If a particular route requires a bus attendant, we strongly prefer the use of the regular M-W attendant.  When practical, the district will make every effort to provide turn-by-turn directions to the contractor at least 24 hours in advance.
