NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is seeking proposals for the provision of temporary security with demonstrated law enforcement, former military and/or professional security experience at NYRA’s Belmont Park Racetrack, Elmont, NY, and Saratoga Race Track, Saratoga Springs, NY. Specifically, NYRA will require its temporary horse watch security personnel to support: the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival (“BSRF”) (starting in 2022); and any other large racing events that NYRA may hold at its tracks during the term of any contract that may be entered as a result of this RFP. Horse Watch temporary security will be required to support the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, the Stars and Stripes stakes races, the Saratoga meet which consists of the Whitney and Travers Stakes races and any other large events that NYRA might hold. The term of the final agreement, if any is awarded hereunder, shall be for three (3) years from the date of execution, with NYRA having the sole discretion to renew for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year.
Proposals will be received by the Director of Procurement at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11417, not later than 2:00pm., prevailing time, on March 17, 2022.
