The New York Racing Association Inc. (“NYRA”) is soliciting bidders to provide pricing for a robotic PTZ camera system to be delivered by May 22, 2024. Vendor must be available on-site for commissioning on May 29 and/or May 30, 2024, at Saratoga Race Course. NYRA will also require support for the system. The term of any contract entered into as a result of this RFQ will be for one year from the date of execution with 3 optional 1-year renewals (NYRA’s option). This camera is imperative for coverage of horse races run out of Saratoga's one-mile Wilson Chute. The camera and lens would need to cover up to 1,100 feet from the point of installation on an approximate 25' pole to the back end of the Wilson Chute and cover horses running at up to 35mph. The video from this camera will be used by racing officials and broadcast television.
NYRA will provide the pole, fiber and power connectivity to the robotic camera, which will typically be used in summer months during daylight hours.
