The Owner is the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority, and the work site is located in the City of Ogdensburg, Saint Lawrence County, New York. The project’s limits extend from the backwall of Abutment U1 to 200 feet north of Pier M2.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: This element specific project addresses the accelerating deterioration of the U.S. Approach Plate Girder Spans 1 to 8 that are subject to tire-carried winter deicing salts that pass through the open grid steel deck onto the floorbeams and plate girders below. This project will rehabilitate the original steel floorbeams where necessary and provide for blast cleaning and painting of all steel within Spans 1 to 8. In addition, additional funding at this time has allowed for the replacement of the U.S. Approach Truss Spans 9-14 deck and floorbeams
