RFB-1350 - SNOWPLOWS AND WING REPLACEMENTS

Summary of Specifications:
GENERAL: It is the intent of this bid reference to establish pricing of various replacement snowplows and wing plows, units will then be purchased on an as needed basis. Pricing shall reflect delivered components. Prices quoted shall be considered current for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of the award. Contract awards shall be renewable, if agreed upon by both parties, for 3 (three) terms of 6 (six) months each, thus the contract could run a total of 2 (two) years from the date of award. Due to market fluctuations in the price of raw materials, a price escalation factor of up to 5% may be added at the start of each new term. The vendor must ask for and demonstrate that the amount of the price escalation factor is required, Oneida County reserves the right to review the amount of price increase before each term. Vendors should note that only the two brands of plows listed will be considered as replacement units since hitches and attachments are all designed around these current units.
