SCOPE OF WORK
Work under this contract consists of the replacement of the Allen-Padgham Road Bridge over Ganargua Creek in the Town of Farmington, Ontario County, New York, with a new single span multi-girder steel bridge on an improved horizontal alignment and approximate 850’ of road reconstruction as shown on the Contract Documents and related work. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following:
q Provide, maintain and remove temporary erosion control measures
q Maintaining and protecting traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements
q Preserving, maintaining and relocating existing signs
q Remove and salvage signs and markers
q Provide new signs, markers and posts as indicted on the plans
q Locating, preserving and protecting existing utilities at all times
q Excavating and constructing drainage systems; Maintain stormwater flows
q Tree removal / clearing and grubbing highway right-of-way and work area
q Construction of embankment and cut slopes
q Provide stone filling and channel protection
q Unclassified excavation, grading, cleaning and re-shaping ditches and waterways
q Removal of the existing bridge and construction of the new bridge
q Excavation necessary for foundations and stone fill
q Excavation necessary for demolition of the structures
q Backfill structures and construct roadway embankments
q Construct drainage improvements
q Provide bridge railing, guide railing and appurtenances
q Removal of box beam guide rail and installation of new box beam guide rail
q Restoration of all driveways and property disturbed by construction
q Remove pavements in areas of new pavements and construct new pavements
q Provide new pavement markings
q Restore disturbed areas and turf establishment
q Incidental work necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project
