Scope:
Work under this Contract consists of the resurfacing of County Road 9 from Village of Victor to Monroe County (approximately 3.25 miles) in the Town of Victor, Ontario County, NY. The work includes cross culvert rehabilitations, limited pavement repairs, production cold mill surface planning of bituminous concrete, hot-mix asphalt overlay, guide railing replacements, and other incidental construction necessary for completion of this project.
 
Work under this Contract consists of the resurfacing of CR 42 from NY 251 to NY 96 (approximately 2.1 miles) in the Town of Victor, Ontario County, NY. The work includes limited drainage improvements, limited pavement repairs, heater scarification of HMA, hot-mix asphalt overlay, guide railing replacements, and other incidental construction necessary for completion of the project.
 
The Contractor’s attention is called to the close proximity of underground utilities at the project site.
 
It is expected that work will begin in late April 2017 and be completed mid October 2017. This is a tentative schedule.
 
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:
 

• Provide, maintain and remove temporary erosion control measures
• Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements
• Preserving, maintaining and relocating existing signs
• Locating, preserving and protecting existing utilities at all times
• Excavating and constructing drainage systems; maintain storm water flows
• Construction of embankment and cut slopes
• Construction of limited pavement repairs
• Production cold mill surfacing planning of bituminous concrete
• Cold Mill pavement rebates between existing and proposed pavements
• Construction hot mix asphalt concrete pavements and shoulders to the line and grades shown on the Contract Documents… Lay out and apply temporary pavement markings as necessary
• Laying out and applying permanent pavement markings
• Placing asphalt milling for shoulder backup material to the proper lines and grades
• Removal of corrugated beam guide rail and installation of mew box beam guide railing
• Restoration of all driveways and property disturbed by construction
• Turf establishment
• Incidental work necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project
