A. The project consists of the full renovation an existing Office areas of approximately 1,088 square feet in
area as well as minor modifications in other areas, and includes, but is not limited to the following general
areas of work:
1. Removal of existing asbestos containing building materials.
2. Miscellaneous demolition work
3. New partitions, doors, frames, and hardware
4. New finishes.
B. The work will consist of one Prime Contract.
1. General Construction Contract which will include all work specified and/or shown on the drawings
unless specifically noted to be completed by others.
C. Work by other Contractors:
1. The Owner will enlist the services of separate contractors to perform the following work.
a. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Contractor. This Contractor will complete the reworking
of the HVAC system to accommodate the new office configurations shown on the
drawings. Work will include, but not be limited to the removal and reinstallation of n ductwork,
reheat coils, and related building control work.
b. Electrical Contractor. This Contractor will complete the re-working of the Electrical system to
accommodate the new office configurations shown on the drawings. Work will include, but not
be limited to the removal and reinstallation of the following items: lighting, electrical outlets, data
outlets and cabling.
2. The General Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all work in their contract with the
Owner’s Contractors including, but not limited to:
a. Providing ample time for completion of work in the schedule for other Contractors to complete
their work.
b. Coordination of the items to be disconnected to facilitate demolition and asbestos abatement.
c. Making and leaving the appropriate openings for the work of the other Contractors.
The following dates shall be used by the Contractor for planning and execution of work.
1. Contract award by Ontario County complete June 2, 2017
2. Substantial Completion of all work August 9, 2017
3. Completion of Punch List August 18, 2017
4. Owner Occupies Work Areas August 21, 2017
