Project Scope
Work of this Contract is comprised of the renovations of the Biology and Tissue Culture Labs on the 3rd floor. This is
work area #1. Work area #2 is the 4th floor addition for the Anatomy/Physiology Lab, Flex Instruction, and Lobby
Expansion.
Contracts are separate contracts between Ontario County and the Contractors, representing significant construction
activities. Each Contract is performed concurrently with and closely related to construction activities performed on the
project and closely coordinated with construction activities performed on the project under Contracts.
Contract #1: General Construction/Asbestos Abatement
Contract #2: Plumbing/Fire Protection
Contract #3: HVAC
Contract #4: Electrical/Communications/Security
Construct the Work under a Lump Sum fixed price Contract for each Contract.
Construction work is being accomplished by utilizing a sequentially phased, multiple contract procedure. Separation
of the work into Contracts will be accomplished by the Construction Manager.
