Scope:
Work under this contract consists of the replacement of the Old Mill Road over Flint Creek Bridge in the Town of Seneca, Ontario County, New York. The work includes removing the existing superstructure and substructure, excavation and backfill, installing piles, constructing new integral abutments, installing concrete NEXT beams, approach resurfacing, guide rail upgrades, striping and other incidental construction necessary for completion of the project.
The contractor’s attention is called to the close proximity of underground utilities at the project site.
The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Provide, maintain and remove temporary erosion control measures
Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements
Preserving, maintaining and relocating existing signs
Locating, preserving and protecting existing utilities at all times
Unclassified excavation and disposal
Remove existing guide railing on the four corners of the bridge and installing new steel bridge railing with transition railing to new box beam guide rail
Removal and disposal of the existing substructure and superstructure
Installation of piles, concrete integral abutments, concrete NEXT beams and a concrete deck
Reconstructing and resurfacing the approaches
Laying out and applying permanent pavement markings
Restoration of all driveways and property disturbed by construction
Turf establishment
Incidental work necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project

The Work includes all labor, materials equipment, transportation, disposal, and performing all work in accordance with these Contract Documents, technical specifications and plans, as ordered by Engineer.
