1.1 LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A. The Work is located at the Pump Station 10E, 3465 Sandy Beach Drive,
Canandaigua, New York 14424.
B. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to,
constructing the Work described below and all related appurtenances. The Work
includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Install temporary bypass pumps, piping, and appurtenances as shown on the
Contract Drawings.
2. Remove existing equipment, materials, pumps, motors, piping, valves, and
appetences, electrical equipment, and associated equipment and complete all
other demolition activities as indicated on the Contract Drawings.
3. Obtain necessary permits, implement sediment and erosion control measures as
applicable, verify existing conditions, and install temporary facilities as
acceptable.
4. Relocate existing utilities, including water and natural gas lines, as necessary.
5. Install a new underground electrical service and electric panels.
6. Install a new valve vault.
7. Install a new sanitary force main from the valve vault to the existing force main
tie-in location as shown on the Contract Drawings.
8. Repair grout in existing wet well.
9. Install new equipment, pumps, piping, valves, supports, and electrical
equipment.
10. Relocate and install existing automatic transfer switch.
11. Install new wet well concrete top slab and access hatch.
12. Install new concrete pad.
13. Install new pump control panel (as provided by OWNER).
14. Upon successful completion of performance test, remove temporary bypass
pump, piping, and appurtenances.
15. Restore surfaces disturbed.
C. Contracting Method: The Project shall be constructed under one prime Contract
