Project Scope
The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all related appurtenances. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Install temporary bypass pumps, piping, and appurtenances as shown on the Contract Drawings.
2. Remove existing equipment, materials, pumps, motors, piping, valves, and appetences, electrical equipment, and associated equipment and complete all other demolition activities as indicated on the Contract Drawings.
3. Obtain necessary permits, implement sediment and erosion control measures as applicable, verify existing conditions, and install temporary facilities as acceptable.
4. Relocate existing utilities as necessary.
5. Install a new underground electrical service, meter, and disconnect.
6. Install a new precast concrete valve vault.
7. Install a new sanitary force main from the valve vault to the existing force main.
8. Install new precast concrete wet well top slab and access hatch.
9. Repair grout in the existing wet well.
10. Install new equipment, pumps, piping, valves, and supports.
11. Install new natural gas standby generator, gas piping, and automatic transfer switch.
12. Reinstall existing relocated pump control panel.
13. Install new concrete housekeeping pad for the standby generator and electrical equipment.
14. Upon Successful completion of performance test, remove temporary bypass pumping system.
15. Restore surfaces disturbed and regrade site as indicated on the Contract Drawings.
Contracting Method: The Project shall be constructed under one prime Contract.
