NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Ontario will receive sealed bids for Pump Stations 4W and 5W Improvements Project Canandaigua Lake County Sewer District (B14000). Such sealed bids must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, PRIOR TO 3:00 PM Prevailing Time, April 10th, 2014. There will be a prebid meeting held March 27th, 2014, at 10:30 AM.. Said meeting will be held at the Ontario County Department of Public Works Conference Room, 2962 County Road 48, Canandaigua NY, 14424. Vendors are to meet in the lobby of the Student Services Center on the Campus. All interested parties are strongly urged to attend. This may be the only opportunity to view all the sites. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Ontario County Purchasing Director at the above mentioned address only (Telephone: 585-396-4442) for a refundable deposit of $50.00 for the first set only (U.S. FUNDS). Vendors requesting additional sets of plans must submit a separate nonrefundable check for $50.00 per each additional set. Checks shall be made payable to the Ontario County Treasurer. No vendor shall receive specifications prior to receipt of a deposit by the Purchasing Department. Vendors requesting arrangements other than U.S. Mail, shall be responsible for making such arrangements and all associated costs. Scope of Work Work under this contract consists of improvements of Ontario County's Pump Station 5W & Pump Station 4W. This contract also includes the construction of a gravity force main bypass for the City of Canandaigua's Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at the Pump Station 4W site. Pump Station 4W is located at 3781 County Route 16 and Pump Station 5W is located at 4084 County Route 16 in the Town of Canandaigua.
