that the County of Ontario will receive Proposals for Structural Analysis of Communication Tower (R24062). Such proposals must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, on or before 4:00 PM prevailing time July 8, 2024.
All questions pertaining to this RFP shall be forwarded in writing to the Director of Purchasing at the address shown above.
Ontario County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Statement of Work
Ontario County seeks quotes from a licensed professional engineering firm to provide communication tower (tank) mapping and structural analysis to assess loading capacity for a new emergency communications site to be deployed on a water tank located in Seneca County, NY. Ontario County proposes to co-locate a P25 digital 700 MHz site/antenna system that is part of a Simulcast trunked network and antenna system and a separate 700 MHz antenna that is part of a conventional Simulcast UTAC Channel on the water tank.
Finger Lakes Communications, Co., Inc. (Auburn, NY) is under contract with Ontario County to design, install, and test the new communications site.
There is an MWBE participation goal for this project. MWBE businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal.
