ITB-OCCC-2017-35 - Water Treatment Service & Chemicals - Cooling Towers and Boilers

Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange, or the “College”) is seeking Water Treatment Chemicals and Services for approximately eight (8) cooling towers, both campuses combined and boilers located at only the Middletown campus.  Full service, year round on a monthly basis is necessary to control corrosion, pitting, scale and fouling of the mechanical equipment.  A list of cooling towers and site information follows. The water treatment company shall be a recognized specialist in the field of industrial and commercial water treatment. The water treatment company shall have an accredited laboratory, and technical service representative located within 80 miles of the job site(s). Initial contract period will be for one year (June 1, 2017 – May 31, 2018), with option to renew for an additional two (2) 1 year periods upon the mutual consent of the College and the vendor.
