RFP-21-0002 - INSTALLMENT PURCHASE FINANCE SERVICE

The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation (CiTi) is seeking proposals for Installment
Purchase Agreements (“IPA”) financing proposals to acquire equipment for use by CiTi or by
school districts participating in the CiTi services. CiTi is a Board of Cooperative Educational Services
(BOCES) that is organized under New York State Education Law and is tax exempt. Tax exempt
information is available upon request.

CiTi, on behalf of itself or participating school districts, will procure equipment to be financed
via an IPA in accordance with General Municipal Law and take delivery of such equipment directly from
the manufacturer or dealer. 

Although equipment may physically reside within participating school district locations, title to the
equipment remains with CiTi and CiTi maintains responsibility for paying the IPA’s and insuring the
equipment. Participating school districts reimburse CiTi for the cost of the IPA’s executed upon their
behalf.
