The County of Oswego Office for the Aging (OFA) was awarded a New York State Age-Friendly Planning Grant Program funds in order to complete the work necessary to apply to become certified as age-friendly through the AARP/World Health Organization (WHO) process, and prepare and adopt a Resolution incorporating health across all policies into County agency activities. Oswego County has a population of 117,898; 16.3% of residents are over age 65, and 38% are age 50 or older.
