PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids shall be received by the Board of Education, 113 Bowman Avenue Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District, Port Chester, New York 10573 for the following bid package:
New Retaining Wall – John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
Bid proposals must be received by June 9, 2021 at 3:15 PM. by mail or in person, at the Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District 113 Bowman Avenue, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud electronically, via live stream, in the Middle School Auditorium.
Starting May 20, 2021 one set of Bid documents, in PDF format, can be obtained by Bidders, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers for no cost by submitting the request by emailing Sherry George, Purchasing Agent, sgeorge@pcrufsd.org. The request must include requester’s full name, name of the company, address, phone and fax numbers.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 2, 2021 at 3:15 PM. Bidders are requested to meet at the main entrance of the JFK Elementary School located at 40 Olivia Street, Port Chester, New York.
Lump sum bids will be received for One (1) prime contract.
Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Certified Check payable to Port Chester-Rye UFSD or Bid Bond of a sum no less than Ten (10%) percent of the Bid Amount, including alternates.
The Owner will require a Performance, Labor and Material Bond in the amount of One Hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount.
Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission, except as otherwise provided in General Municipal Law §103 (11).
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
