RFB 16-21 - Highway Reconstruction U.S. Route 6/202 at Farrington Road

The work under this contact includes all work necessary in association with the widening and
reconstruction of U.S. Route 6 at Farrington Road and related highway and drainage
improvements including construction of detention pond in the northeast corner of the
intersection. The work includes the removal and reconstruction of the U.S. Route 6 median,
realignment and reconstruction of Farrington Road, and associated drainage, pavement widening,
signing and striping improvements in accordance with the New York State Department of
Transportation (NYSDOT) Specifications and as per the contract drawings entitled “Highway
Improvement Plan for U.S. Route 6/202 (S.H. 1455)/Farrington Road Reconstruction” as
prepared by Maser Consulting, dated May 7, 2021 and by Insite Engineering & Surveying all
dated March 16, 2021. All work shall be completed in accordance with the NYSDOT Standards
and Specifications and NYSDOT Standard Sheets, dated May 1, 2021, including any revisions
unless otherwise noted.
