A 2nd Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Inspection is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdayy, April 26, 2022 at the Troy Senior Center located at 19 Third Street, Troy, NY 12180 parking is limited and attendance will be recorded. Any Bidder that has submitted a Bid and has not attended at least one of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Inspections will not be considered for this contract. All questions regarding this project will be addressed at the Pre-Bid Site Inspection.

The contract(s) will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest responsible cost bid per Category meeting specifications. One or all categories may be bid. Rensselaer County reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and re-bid, if necessary, when it appears to be in the County’s best interest.

The contract(s) will be effective from the date stated in the Notice of Award letter. The moving and removal of debris services will commence upon the opening and availability of the City Station property. Upon receiving the Notice of Award Contractors shall submit the necessary insurance certificates to the Bureau of Central Services and a Notice to Proceed with Work letter will be issued. All work shall be coordinated through the Commissioner of Unified Family Services Office, Department of Aging..

Parking is limited at the Troy Senior Center at 19 Third Street, Troy, NY 12180. It is therefore, the responsibility of the Interested Bidders to obtain any necessary parking permits from the City of Troy and to include those fees into the submitted bid prices. Bidders are also responsible for including any “Refuse Fee’s” (Landfill/Transfer Station fees) into the submitted bid prices. Permits will need to be in place upon Notification of Award of contract(s).
